WARNING!
To obtain the optimal spread:
use for spreading only dry and non-lumped material,
make sure that the gritter is installed in a horizontal position,
make sure that the baldes are in good condition, check the arrangement of
the blades and if necessary, tighten the fastening screws,
observe the recommended working speed,
regularly check the condition of all parts of the gritter,
after finishing work, thoroughly clean the gritter.
6.2.3.
Adjusting tensioning and position of transmission belt
Using tensioning bolts (

) adjust belt tensioning whenever skid occurs on the
tensioning drum;
After 15 minutes of the idle work, the belt should be located in central position on rollers.
If tape starts to come off from the drum, increase the belt’s tensioning with a bolt from the side,
to which the belt is moved,
Belt’s tensioning range can be adjusted within 100 – 140 mm. When the belt is properly tensed,

6.2.4.
Adjusting tensioning of v-belt
-
loosen two M10 bolts, which mount the disk’s base;
-
adjust the belt’s tensioning with use of M12 bolt;
-
tighten both bolts, which mount the disk’s base.
