Preparing the plow for operation

ATTENTION!

During storing of the machines in company SaMASZ the cylinders are protected
by special grease in order to secure them against weather which may cause their
premature wear. Before starting the operation excess grease should be removed
from the cylinders.

After correctly mounting the plow on the tractor it should be inspected and it should be determined if
the plow has a worn blade insert or loose bolts. If necessary replace worn elements and tighten the
bolts. If the plow is ready for use it should be placed in the desired position and plowing may be started.

Fig. 9

presents basic operating positions of the plow. While working on public roads turn on the marker

lights.

Plow has a locking pawl, which is unlocked when lower part of the shield hits an obstacle. Application
of such solution enables the shield's unlocking force adjustment by adjusting tensioning force of spring
under the pawl.
