Removal of the flail consists of unscrewing the nut using a flat wrench (1) using a flat
wrench, removing the bolt (4) and removing the flail (5). Installation of the flail is accomplished by
reversing these steps (Fig. 26).
6.8.
Adjustment of the pressure between the rollers
(For mowers: KT 260 W (H), KT 300 W (H))
The factory setting of the pressure between rollers should be adequate. If it appeared that it is
too loose or too tight it can be corrected through changing the tautness of the spring S (Fig. 27) by
turning the nut N. Change in pressure should be done on both sides of the roller by the same
measure (number or turns of the nut).

6.9.
Maintenance
6.9.1.
Checking the blades and blade holders
All blades should be of equal length and have the same weight. If necessary, blades should be
replaced with new sets of matching length and weight. The blade holder shafts can not be worn to
a greater degree than what is shown on Fig. 28. Excessively worn shaft should be replaced.
