SAM4s ER-265 Operator's and Programming Manual v1.14

Totaling and Tendering

Three keys may be used to total and total a sale:

CHECK

CHARGE

CASH/TEND

key. The

CHECK

and

CASH/TEND

keys can also be used for change calculation.

Subtotaling a Sale

To display and print the subtotal of the sale
including tax, press

SUBTOTAL

SUB

TOTAL

The subtotal will display with “ S ”
indicated in the left digit position of the
display.

Totaling a Cash Sale

To total a cash sale, press

CASH/TEND

CASH/

TEND

The display will indicate “=” for total, the
drawer will open and the receipt will print
as in the example on the right.
