8.2
Oil/fat utilization period
The control calculates and modifies the fat utilization period for the duration of the operation in dependence
of the temperature:
−
Lower temperature = longer fat utilization period
−
High temperature = shorter fat utilization period
The oil/fat utilization period greatly depends on the frying temperature, the products used and the cleaning
of the frying oil or frying fat.
The settable oil/fat utilization period can therefore only be regarded as a reference value that must be ad
apted to the local condition.
By factory setting, the oil/fat utilization period function is switched off. Switching on and setting of the oil/fat
utilization period, see page 60 Chapter 8.5
8.2.1
Displaying the remaining time of the oil/fat utilization period
Press the "P"
key.
Within 3 seconds, press the "Temperature/pump" key
.
The remaining time in hours is displayed for 3 seconds.
If three dashes "- - -" are shown on the display, the oil/fat utilization period function is switched off.
8.2.2
Postponing the report for the oil/fat utilization period's expiry
To avoid having to replace any cooking oil or cooking fat during peak times, the report can be suppressed
or postponed by one hour.
After expiry of the oil/fat utilization period:
The display alternately shows
and .
An acoustic signal is output.
Press the "P" key.
Within 3 seconds, press the "Temperature/pump" key
.
The report signal is suppressed and the oil/fat utilization period is prolonged by 1 hour.
8.2.3
Resetting the counter for the oil/fat utilization period
After the bowl's refilling with new cooking oil or cooking fat, the counter for the fat utilization period must be
reset.
Press the "P" key.
Within 3 seconds, press the "Temperature/pump" key
and hold down for 3 seconds.
The display shows the updated fat utilization period for 3 seconds.
