Siphoning the cooking oil/fat (by hand, with no pump)
On units with no pump, the cooking oil/fat must be siphoned from the container into the pan
manually.
Preparatory work
Wear fat and heat resistant shoes, gloves
and a leather apron.
Slide the container gently and carefully out
on the guide rails until it stops.
Be careful of dripping cooking oil/fat, and
or floors soiled by cooking oil/fat! For this pur
pose, prepare a contains for the parts which are
removed!
Remove the coarse filter and fine filter and
place these in the prepared container.
Siphoning
Carefully unhook the container:
−
Slide the container out on the guide rails
until it stops,
−
raise the forward handle of the container
by approx. 5 cm,
−
and then further draw out the container
until it stops,
−
then remove the container from the guide
rails using both handles.
Empty the cooking oil/fat over the pour
opening into the pan.
CAUTION
Danger of slipping! Immedi
ately clean any fat splashes off the floor.
