Installation, assembly at the installation site
Caution! Be aware of the weight!
Be aware of the weight when unloading, transporting and installing the cooking station (plinth,
base unit, top unit). Use a trolley and lifting equipment. Work with proper back posture.
Proceed with caution when unloading and transporting the cooking station.

Ensure that the cooking station (top/base unit) does not bend or buckle.

Inexpert transport can bend the cooking station (top/base unit). The ceramic glass can
break.
Reading the design/installation plan/checklist

Observe the special information, e.g. on supply line, fuses!

Check the correct dimensions of the on-site supply and drain lines.

Use the checklist (see page 26 chapter 7.).

Check the on-site base for correct dimensions and flatness (tolerance 1 mm).

Check flatness and level:

using a surveyor’s level or
−
a straight edge with spirit level (same length as cooking station)

If the base and the cooking station were
delivered separately, position these ac
cording to the design/installation plan and
fix into place with welding spots (posi
tioning the base, see page 36 chapter 3.2.

Check/level the cooking station with the
surveyor’s level or a sufficiently long
straight edge with spirit levels on the cor
ners.

Tolerance approx. 1 mm: Welding work
can lead to warping of the top surface
which cannot be prevented due to the na
ture of the process. This is not a reason
for complaints.

Level out any unevenness/gaps between
the base and the cooking station at the le
velling points using sheet metal strips.
