OPERATION
Three way valves
This type of three way motorised valve has port A
normally closed with no power to the valve. In this
state, water can flow from port AB to port B. When the
electrical supply is activated, the actuator motor
overcomes the force of the internal spring and closes
port B.
This allows water to flow from port AB to port A. The
valve is kept in this position until the electrical supply
is interrupted. When the electrical supply is
interrupted the internal spring drives the valve back
and closes port A. If power is activated on both
channels, the valve will sit in mid position and allow
water to flow through ports A and B.
