BEFORE FIRST USE

1.  Remove all packaging.

2.  Wash the Tower and Auger in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.

3.  Wipe the inside of the bowl and the base with a damp cloth.

NOTE: DO NOT use abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID

HOW TO USE

1.  In order for the Chocolate Fountain to work properly, place on a dry

  and level surface.

2.  Ensure that the Auger and Tower are securely in place then plug into

  the wall outlet.

3.  There are three settings on the Control Knob:

HEAT – Starts the heater and allows the unit to preheat

  OFF – Stops operation

FLOW -  Starts the motor for chocolate to flow over the Tower

4.  Turn the Control Knob to the HEAT setting and let the unit preheat 3-5

 minutes.

5.  While the unit is preheating, melt chocolate either in microwave or in a

  double boiler on the stove.

NOTE: Use as little as 500g (1 lb.) and up to a maximum of 700g (1.5

lbs.) of white, milk or dark chocolate.

6.  Once the chocolate is melted add approximately 1/4 cup of vegetable

oil and stir thoroughly to combine. The oil will allow the chocolate to

become the proper consistency to flow over the Tiers and create the

  “fountain” effect.

NOTE: Depending on the type of chocolate you are using you may

need more or less oil to thin out the chocolate.

To test the consistency of the chocolate, dip a large spoon into the

chocolate and allow it to run off the spoon. If it drips thickly from the

spoon add more oil. The final consistency of the chocolate should run

  smoothly off the spoon.

7.  Once the chocolate is ready, turn the Control Knob to the FLOW

setting. Slowly add the ready chocolate mixture to the Bowl.

Chocolate will be drawn up the Tower by the Auger and begin to flow

  evenly over each Tier.

8.  Your Chocolate Fountain is now ready for use.
