When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Read all instructions and save them for future reference.

Always ensure that the power used, corresponds to the one indicated on the rating label
3.
Use the kettle only for the specified use as described in this instruction leaflet
4.
Do not attempt to open the lid while the kettle is boiling
5.
Never put the kettle near or on cooker hot plates or a gas burner.
6.
Never fill above the ‘max’ mark and always ensure that the minimum amount of water is in
the kettle before boiling.
7.
Do not cover the unit with anything.
8.
Never immerse the unit, plug or power cord in water, or for the plug or cord to come into
contact with water.
9.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near or by children or invalids.
10.
Always place the kettle on a flat surface.
11.
Never operate the kettle with a damaged power cord or plug, or after it has been damaged in
any way.

Do not use outdoors

To disconnect the plug, grasp firmly at the wall outlet, never pull on the cord.

Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
15.
Never attempt to open any part or dismantle the controls. Responsibility for failure cannot be
accepted if this instruction has been ignored.

This product is intended for household use only. Industrial or commercial use invalidates the
warranty.

To reduce the risk of electrical hazards, it is recommended not to use an extension cord, or
plug adaptor.
