GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug
(2 blades and 1 pin). If the plug does not fi t fully into the electrical outlet
contact a qualifi ed electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use
an adaptor.
BEFORE FIRST USE

Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

Remove all packaging.
3.
Water boiled for the fi rst time should be discarded.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
1.
The Filter has been installed on the Kettle before shipping. If it has
been dislodged during shipping, check inside the Kettle or in the box
for the Filter. Install before using the Kettle. (See Care and Cleaning
section)
DO NOT REMOVE OR INSTALL THE FILTER WHEN THE
KETTLE IS HOT.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT USE THE KETTLE WITHOUT THE
FILTER IN POSITION

- this may allow water to spit out of the spout when boiling
- allow the kettle to remain in the boil cycle too long once the water
has boiled
- the kettle may not shut off

Fill Kettle between the minimum and maximum levels shown on the
Water Level Window.
NOTE: DO NOT
attempt to fi ll while the Kettle is on the Power Base.
DO NOT
use for other than boiling water. Other liquids will
contaminate the interior of the Kettle.
