HOW TO USE

1. Plug into a 120 Volt AC outlet.

2. Swing the Filter Basket Holder outward to the left. Place a #4 cone-shaped

paper filter, a permanent filter (SwissGold model KF-4 or a Jasi Goldtone
model KF-4T) in the Filter Basket. Fill the coffee filter with the desired
amount of ground coffee.

NOTE:

Use coffee ground specifically for automatic drip coffee makers.

3. Close the Filter Basket Holder and snap into place. NOTE: If the door does

not close completely, check to see that the Filter Basket is properly seated
in the Filter Holder then snap the door into place.

4. Pour cold water into the Water Reservoir between the 4 cup mark

and 8 cup MAX mark on the Water Level Window.

IMPORTANT:

Do not

fill the Water Reservoir beyond the MAX level in the Water Level Window
or water will leak out the opening in back designed to prevent overfilling.

5. Place the Carafe with Lid on the Bottom Plate. NOTE: The Lid must be

screwed in place on the Carafe.

6. If you want to brew coffee immediately, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button

TWICE and the green ‘On’ Indicator Light will illuminate indicating that
the brewing cycle has started. (To use ‘Timed Brew’ follow the directions
in the section "Delayed Brew Cycle")

7. In a few minutes the coffee will be brewed. NOTE: The green indicator

light will go out after 15 minutes. If you wish to turn off the Coffee
Maker before the automatic shut off press the Start/Stop Button once.

8. The lid must be partially unscrewed to pour coffee and retightened to

maintain coffee temperature.
