5. Commissioning
5.1 Commissioning of the pump
The pump must be commissioned in compliance
with its commissioning instructions.
Make sure that it is full before switching it on. Fit
an isolating valve on the pressure side in order to
ensure that the zero delivery rate detection func-
tions correctly.
5.2 Adjustment of the delivery rate controller for
detection of zero delivery rate
When the pump is operating correctly and sta-
bilised at the desired delivery rate, adjust the
delivery rate controller by using the 2 potentio-
meters (normal adju fine adjustment) on
the front in such a way that one orange LED and
one green LED are switched on.
Warning! The normal delivery rate of operation
must never be lower than 1 m³/h.
Adjust the follow-up time taking into account the
malfunction and the desired value.
If the fluid temperature is above 100 °C, adjust the
follow-up time to 0.
6. Spare parts
All spare parts must be ordered through Salmson
customer services.
In order to avoid any mistakes, please specify
the rating plate data for orders.
The spare parts catalogue is available at
www.salmson.com.
7. Safe disposal
Proper disposal and recycling of this product
prevents damage to the environment and risks
to personal health.
Disposal in accordance with the regulations
requires the product to be drained and cleaned.
Lubricants must be collected. The pump compo-
nents are to be separated according to material
(metal, plastic, electronics).

when disposing of all or part of the product.
2. For more information on proper disposal,
please contact your local council or waste
disposal office or the supplier from whom you
obtained the product.
NOTE: The pump must not be disposed of along
with household waste!

Carry out a security check. From the rated flow
rate run gradually towards a minimum delivery
rate until a zero delivery rate. The red LED should
switch on and the pump motor should switch off
at the end of the adjustment follow-up time.
