How to clean the surface in contact with food:
- Ensure that the appliance is unplugged before
cleaning.
- Let the unit completely cool down.
- Do not use abrasive detergents, any organic sol-
vents or aggressive chemicals.
·
Potential injury from misuse.
· The heating element surface is subject to residual
heat after use.
·
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
· The surfaces are likely to be hot during use
·
The appliance must not be immersed for cleaning.
· The connector must be removed before the appli-
ance is cleaned and that the appliance inlet must be
dried before the appliance is used again.
·
Only the appropriate connector must be used.
· If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be pro-
jected.
· WARNING
: Do not remove the cover while the wa-
ter is boiling.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components
out of the reach of children. They are potentially dan-
gerous.
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains without
checking that the voltage on the rating plate is the
same that the one you have at home.
• Ensure the plug has an adequate earth base.

performed by an authorized service centre.
• The kettle works with electricity only. Never use the
jug on an electric or gas cooker, nor in a microwave,
do not use it when it has a fissure.
• Never connect without the water level being over
the minimum level, and not going over the maximum
level of the water level indicator.
• If the kettle is too full, the water may splash when
it boils.
• Do not use any other liquid or additive than water
in the jug.
•
VERY IMPORTANT:
- Never immerse the jug and the base in water
or other liquids.
- Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
• The exterior parts of the jug get hot. Use the handle
to manipulate.
• The kettle must only be used with the base provid-
ed.
• Disconnect from the mains before removing it from
its base.
• Always use with the lid on. Otherwise, the automat-
ic disconnection system, when the water boils, will
not work and the water will continue to boil until it
evaporates completely.
• Before using the kettle for the first time, make it
works only with water a couple of times to clean out
completely.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning it, ensure the appli-
ance is unplugged from the mains.
