The bits represented by the hexadecimal characters have the following meaning:
Bits of the BIST’s hex value result
Bit number
Description
1 (LSB)
DSP boot test.
2
APD regulation test.
3
5V supply (VRX) test.
4
7.5V supply (7V5_RX) test.
5
3.3V supply test.

The parameter ‘x’ can have the following values:
‘0’ -->

‘1’..’6’ -->
Activate
LPCL mode with growing energy: ‘6’
results in the highest energy for this mode.

Commands sent to the module are in black (hex values in
blue). Characters sourced by the module are in green (hex
values in red).
The hex value “0D” is the carriage return.
Neither a measurement nor a self-test can be initiated when the low-power continuous lasing mode is
active: command “Tb1” is disabled during this mode. This mode is implemented for manufacturing, i.e.
boresighting purposes only.
6.3 Power on
After a high status at the POWER-ON (Pin8) signal the LRF system will send an ACK to the host system
within 25ms. Then the LRF system is ready to receive a defined command. The power has to be applied
at the PWR-IN (Pin 1-3) before.
