Audio/Video Settings
The Audio/Video Settings page
sets the number of cameras
connected to the NVR in addition
to their individual configurations.
Total audio + Video Device(s)
(1-12)
Select the number of devices you
want to configure. This specifies
the number of ports that must be
used to connect devices to the
RoadRecorder 7000 NVR. These
ports must be sequential. For
example, if you select to connect 6
cameras, only ports 1 through 6 on
the front panel can be used.
Stream(s) per camera
This field is restricted to 2, a high quality stream for event
recording and a low quality stream for continuous recording.
Audio Device Port (7000 model only)
Select the port to which an optional Axis audio device is
connected. Only one audio device is supported. The Axis
audio device must be configured to G.711 (ulaw) encoding
and the login and password must be both set to root .
Click the
Reconfigure Cameras
button to reconfigure
the cameras the next time the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR
is rebooted. This is required if a camera is replaced or
removed.
Individual Audio/Video Device Configuration
Select the device you want to configure from the drop-down
menu and click Go to display a page of settings for each
individual device (details on the next page).
The RoadRecorder 7000 NVR supports
both the Safety Vision SVC-2200 series
cameras in addition to Axis network
cameras. Configuration is identical
except
Axis cameras must be
configured with the login and
password both set to root. For
more information, see Appendix D:
Axis Device Configuration.
