Check Vehicle Belt
Tightness
Grasp the child restraint at the
belt path with one hand. Push
and pull the child restraint from
side to side, forward and back.
The child restraint should not
move more than 2.5 cm (1 in.)
and the vehicle belt should not
loosen.
NOTE:
If it moves more than
2.5 cm (1 in.) or if the vehicle belt loosens, try reinstalling the
child restraint or try another seating location.
Secure your child in the child restraint.
When installed rear-facing, make sure the child restraint is
properly reclined according to your child’s weight.
When installed forward-facing, make sure to tighten the
tether strap.
If you still have questions after installing the locking clip
please contact our Consumer Relations department.
Remove the locking clip when the vehicle seat belt is not
being used with a child restraint.
