Release Chest Clip

Hold each side of the 

chest clip.
Press on the release 

button with your 

thumb and pull the chest clip apart.

Prepare Car Seat to Fit Your Child

Place Child in Car 

Seat to Determine 

Proper Harness Fit

Your child’s bottom and 

back should be flat 

against the car seat. 

For Forward-Facing child fit,

 see page 7. 

Fully Loosen 

Harness Straps

Push down on the 

harness release 

lever (under the 

flap on the front 

of the seat pad) while pulling out on 

the harness straps as shown.

Unbuckle 

Harness

Press in towards 

the 

top

 of the 

red button to 

release the buckle 

tongues.
