Attach Harness Straps to 

Splitter Plate 

Fit loops on harness ends 

completely on

 the splitter 

plate.  

Make sure harness 

straps are not twisted.

Body Pillow

This seat has two pillows.  

Remove each set of pillows 

as the child grows. 
To remove the top pillow, 

unbuckle the harness straps 

and pull pillow out.  To 

remove the botom pillow, 

recline the child restraint and 

rotate the buckle’s metal 

retainer up through the shell, 

pad and pillow.  Remove 

pillow. Replace the buckle.  

Pull up on the buckle to 

make sure it cannot be 

pulled out. See section C-2.
