In order to ensure the correct functioning of the device throughout its service life, it is
recommended to apply the following rules:
 Check the operation of the device, sensor and LEDs by pressing the TEST / HUSH button at
least once a month.
 At least once a month, remove the sensor from the wall and use a soft and damp cloth to
wipe the housing and the device's air vents to remove dust and dirt build-up.
 Never use detergents, aerosols, hairspray, spray deodorant or other solvents in the
immediate vicinity of the device.
 Never paint the device. Paint can seal the vents and interfere with the sensor's ability to
detect gas.
 Never try to disassemble the device or clean it inside. Doing so may void your warranty.
 If the alarm does not work, contact the Distributor / Manufacturer for troubleshooting.
