It is thus important to position the safety light curtain according to the
minimum distance from any reflecting surface.
The minimum distance depends on:
•
Operating distance between emitter (
TX
) and receiver (
RX
);
•
Maximum opening angle of the light beam sent by the safety light
curtain, in particular:
•
- 10°
for ESPE Type 2 (± 5° as to the optic axis)
The graphic in Fig. 9 shows the data of the minimum distance.
