The machine does not turn on.
The machine is not connected to the

Connect the machine to the electric network.
The pump is very noisy.

Coff ee is too cold.
The light (17) was off when the button

Wait until the light turns on.
The fi lter holder is not inserted for pre-
heating (sections 6.1-6.2)
Preheat the fi lter holder.
The milk does not froth.
Not suitable milk.
Check the fat content.
The coff ee is brewed too fast, crema
does not form.
There is too little coff ee in the fi lter
holder.
Add coff ee (sections 6.1 - 6.2).
The grind is too coarse.
Change the degree of grind (section 5).
Coff ee is old or not suitable.
Use a diff erent blend (section 7).
Coff ee is not brewed or brewed in
drips only.
No water.

Clean the rim of the fi lter holder.
The gasket of the boiler is dirty or

Clean or replace the gasket.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter
holder.
Reduce the quantity of coff ee using the measur-
ing scoop.
