Spark plug

Check and change

CAUTION

Check or change the spark plug only
when the engine is cold.

Remove screws and nuts (1) and take off

the cover (2).

Pull the spark plug connector (3).

Unscrew the spark plug (4) with the spark

wrench from the on-bord toolkit.

Check the electrode gap (max. 0,8 mm),

replace the plug if it is severely burnt
away.

Use a new spark plug

NGK CR9 E or

CHAMPION RG4 HC.

Screw in the spark plug by hand and than

tighten up with the spark wrench 1/2 too
3/4 turnings.

Torque 11 Nm.

Plug in the spark plug connector (3).

- Reassemble the cover (2).
