4 - ASSEMBLING THE COCKPIT
This is the last step in assembling your bike:
all you have to do is reassemble the cockpit.
Whether it is a cockpit or a stem integrated into a
handlebar, the handling is similar:
1- Place the spacers provided at the level of the
fork pivot.
2- Position the handlebar at the level of the fork
pivot and slowly insert the handlebar on the up-
per spacer.
3- Place the headset cap and torque tighten it to
compress the assembly.
4- Check that the assembly has no play in the
steering, and that the fork is free of any move-
ment. If too compressed (Stem) or play in the
steering column, repeat the operation.
5- Tighten the 2 screws of the stem (torque indi-
cated on page 13)
