Program 7 – temperature setpoint definition without signal boundary value monitoring
Input
Function
Description
X2b-D3
Heating mode
The signal switches the indoor unit to Heating mode. The mode can
then no longer be changed using the wired remote control.
X2a-D2
and
X2b-D3
Fan mode
When both the heating and cooling signals are applied simultaneously,
the indoor unit switches to Fan mode. The mode can then no longer be
changed using the wired remote control.
X2b-D4
Analog input
evaluation
Analog input
X3-S
is only evaluated if a signal is applied to
X2b-D4
(see
“5.2.1 Evaluating the analog input” on page 25). If no signal is
applied, a setpoint can be specified via the wired remote control.
X2c-D5
Fan speed
F1
(low)
The signal switches the indoor unit to fan speed
F1
. The fan speed can
then no longer be changed using the wired remote control. If automatic
fan speed control is activated, digital input
D5
is no longer evaluated
(see “5.3.1 Automatic fan speed control” on page 26).
X2c-D6
Fan speed
F2
(medium)
The signal switches the indoor unit to fan speed
F2
. The fan speed can
then no longer be changed using the wired remote control. If automatic
fan speed control is activated, digital input
D6
is no longer evaluated
(see “5.3.1 Automatic fan speed control” on page 26).
X2c-D5
and
X2c-D6
Fan speed
F3
(high)
If fan speed
F1
and fan speed
F2
signals are both applied simultane-
ously, the indoor unit switches to fan speed
F3
. The fan speed can then
no longer be changed using the wired remote control. If automatic fan
speed control is activated, digital inputs
D5
and
D6
are no longer evalu-
ated (see “5.3.1 Automatic fan speed control” on page 26).

Output
Function
Description
X4a-I
Alarm signal
All alarms registered by the indoor unit, plus internal expansion mod
-
ule alarms, are indicated via the output. In addition, the error code
can be displayed on the 7-segment display (see
X4b-II
Compressor signal/
operating signal
Either a compressor signal or operating signal is displayed, depend-
ing on DIP switch
S2-2
(see “5.3.7 Status signals” on page 29).
X4c-III
Defrost signal/heat
-
ing signal
Either a defrost signal or heating signal is displayed, depending on
DIP switch
S2-2
(see “5.3.7 Status signals” on page 29).
