MAINTENANCE
4. Clean the electrodes (metal tip) to refresh the
surfaces.
5. Check the spark plug gap. It should be
between 0.7-0.8 mm.
6. Replace the spark plug and its cap.
STORAGE
1. Store the machine out of reach from children
and other unauthorized persons in a well
ventilated, dry and frost-free environment.
2. Empty the oil and fuel tank before long-time
storage.
3. Protect the machine against dust.
4. Change the oil if you want to use the machine
after more than 1 month of storage.
TROUBLESHOOTING

No fuel in tank.
Spark plug shorted or fouled.
Spark plug is broken.

Ignition lead wire shorted,
broken, or disconnected from

Replace lead wire or attach to spark plug.
Contact a qualified service center.
Drain entire system and refill with fresh fuel.
Adjust choke as necessary.

Clean air filter. Refer to Cleaning the Air Filter
earlier in this manual.
Drain lubricant and refill with correct amount of
10W30 engine lubricant. See Adding/Checking
Engine Oil in the Operation section of this manual.
Engine fails to start.
Engine hard to start.
Engine lacks power.
Engine emits too much
smoke.
