4 . OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: CONNECT TO COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY
Connect a suitable compressed air supply to the quick release nipple on the
RYCO hand launcher.
Notes:
1) The optimum air input pressure range for the RYCO CLEAN Kit Hand
Launcher to operate effectively is between 87 psi (6 bar) and 110 psi
(7,5 bar).
2) Air supply must be suitably de-humidified and uncontaminated.
STEP 2: INSTALL ADAPTOR RING & NOZZLE
Press the lever of the catch on the hand launcher to release the hinged retaining
ring and insert the nozzle to suit the ID of the hose, tube or pipe (adaptor ring
must be used for nozzle sizes 32 mm or less).
STEP 3: INSERT PROJECTILE
Refer to the Projectile Selection Chart and select the appropriate projectile to
suit the ID of the hose, tube or pipe and place it inside the nozzle.
STEP 4: LOCK FACEPLATE
Close hinged retaining ring, ensuring that the catch fully engages and locks it
in place.
STEP 5: PRESS TRIGGER TO FIRE PROJECTILE THROUGH HOSE
Place the nozzle firmly against the open end of the hose, tube or pipe to be
cleaned. Press the trigger and hold until the projectile is discharged from the
open end into the catcher bucket or cloth. Repeat until projectile emerges free
of contamination. Do NOT reuse projectiles.
Note:
Always ensure that the projectiles travel all the way through the hose,
tube or pipe and do not get stuck inside. In the event of operating difficulties,
refer to the troubleshooting guide enclosed or contact RYCO technical
department.
