BATTERY – How to Replace the Batteries:
NOTE: If this is the initial setup, please remove TWO (both) insulator strips located under
the pill tray. One insulator is for the clock and the other insulator for the alarm.
4Pocket uses four (4) replaceable batteries:
• One (1) AAA battery is used for the alarm (sound and vibration).
• Three (3) AG13 batteries (button cells) are used for the clock.
• Replace the AAA battery vibration/sound is getting weak.
• Replace the AG13 batteries when the display fades.
• Normal battery life is 12 months.
To open the battery compartment:
1.
Slide the switch labeled OPEN in the direction of the arrow, and SLIGHTLY OPEN the
top casing.
Be careful, if you use too much force to open you may risk breaking the hinges.
2.
Lift the back of the casing to separate it from the lower casing. The batteries are now
visible.
3.
Insert one (1) new AAA battery, take note of the (+/-) ends of the battery.
4.
Insert three (3) button cell style batteries (type: GP76, LR44, SR44, L1154 or equivalent),
with the positive (+) side up.
5.
Close the casing.
RESET – How to reset:
1.
Take a paper clip (not a sharp instrument) and insert it in the small hole above the word
RESET. This located on back of the pill box, above the word “Medication” between pill box 2
and pill box 4. DO NOT use the speaker hole on the right side.
2.
Press down until 12:00 is displayed.
3.
Set the Time and Alarm(s).
