GET STARTED!
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean the baking surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and dry them.
3. Fully unwind the cord.
USE
1. It is best to place the appliance on a non-sensitive surface as large amounts of
grease can damage the worktop surface.
2. Plug the appliance into an earthed mains socket. The red indicator light then comes on.
3. The red indicator light shows that the power is on. The green indicator light shows
that the appliance is working. It comes on when the appliance reaches cooking
temperature and then goes on and off as the thermostat is activated to maintain
the correct temperature.
4. Once the green indicator light is on, the appliance is ready to use.
5. Open the top cover, pour the waffle batter onto the bottom baking plate and close
the top cover.
6. During cooking, the temperature-regulating thermostat will turn on and off.
The indicator light will also turn on and off.
7. Once cooking is complete (in about 2–5 minutes), open the top cover and remove
the waffles using a wooden or plastic utensil. Never use sharp or metal utensils
(knives, metal spatulas or the like), as these will damage the non-stick coating.
8. If you want to make more waffles, close the lid again and wait until the baking
plates have heated up sufficiently.
9. Once the green indicator light comes on again, repeat the above procedure.
10.Once you have finished cooking, unplug the appliance. Leave the appliance open
to cool down.
WARNING! The baking plates, sides and top of the appliance
get very hot. Avoid touching them. Risk of burns! Hold the
handle only when opening and closing the appliance.
WARNING! The appliance must always remain horizontal
during use.
