• Hold the plug when you want to pull it out of the socket – do not pull on
the electric cable.
• Do not use the waffl
e iron outdoors.
• Apart from the heating-up time, the waffl
e iron must not be on when it is
empty. It may overheat.
• Keep an eye on the waffl
e iron when it is switched on. Pull the plug out
of the socket when you are not using the waffl
e iron.

Please do not touch surface while in use. The
temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.
• Let the waffl
e iron cool down completely before cleaning or storing it.
• Children are not aware of the potential dangers that may arise when
handling electrical appliances incorrectly. You should therefore keep

e iron and keep an eye on them when the

• Regularly check the condition of the waffl
e iron, electric cable and plug.
Do not under any circumstances use the waffl
e iron if it is not working
correctly, if you have dropped it on the fl oor or if it is damaged in any
other way. Take the damaged waffl
e iron to an authorised workshop to
be repaired. Do not carry out the repairs yourself!

unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
