INSTALLATION
The 854P is used in two typical installations: Direct (connected directly to an
IR connecting block, e.g., 857) and Remote (remote mounting using an inter-
face, e.g., IRB-1 in-wall connecting block).
In both installations, the 854P may be connected to the IR RECEIVER IN jack
using the 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo mini-plug. In remote installations, it may be
preferable to hard wire to the 4-position termination plug on the 857 or IRB-6
connecting block.
