IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

General Safeguards

1.  To protect against electrical hazards do not immerse the power cord, plug, or microwave oven in 

water or any other liquid.

2.  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, 

sensory or mental capabilities,or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given 

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their 

safety.

3.  This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the 

appliance.

4.  Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord/plug or after the appliance has 

malfunctioned, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. 

5.  There are no user serviceable parts. If the power cord or appliance is damaged, it must be 

replaced/repaired by a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

6.  Utensils should be checked to ensure that they are suitable for use in microwave ovens. To 

check whether or not a utensil is suitable, please refer to the “Microwave Safe Containers/

Utensils” section.

7.  Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors  in this appliance. 
8.  Do not use this microwave for commercial purposes. This microwave oven is made for 

household use only.

9.  This oven is specifically designed to heat or cook food. It is not designed for industrial or 

laboratory use.

10.  The microwave oven has several built-in safety switches to ensure that the power remains off 

when the door is open. Do not tamper with these switches.

11.  Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not store combustible items such as bread, 

cookies, paper products etc inside the oven.

12.  Do not use the oven for the purpose of dehumidification. Do no dry clothes, newspapers or other 

materials in the microwave oven. They may catch on fire.

13.  Do not heat warming pads, slippers, sponges, damp cloth or similar materials as it may lead to 

risk of injury, ignition or fire.

14.  Do not store flammable materials next to, on top of, or in the oven. It could be a fire hazard.
15.  Always turn off and unplug from the power outlet before cleaning the appliance.
16.  Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration that could adversely 

affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

17.  When cleaning door and oven surfaces, use only mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied 

with a  sponge or soft cloth. The heating of corrosive chemicals in this oven may create 

microwave radiation leaks.

18.  To disconnect, set the switch on the wall power outlet to OFF, then grasp the plug and withdraw 

it from the wall socket.

19.  Never pull by the cord.
20. Do not use appliance for other than its intended purpose as described in the Instruction Manual.
21.  This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote 

control system.

22. Do not leave the microwave oven unattended when in use.
