THE MESH FILTER
• Wash the filter assembly (contains mesh filter) in warm soapy water.
• Leave it to air dry – do NOT refit it until it is completely dry.
THE HEPA FILTER
•
The HEPA filter is responsible for cleaning the return air and requires careful handling.
•
If the filter is covered in dust, tap it gently over some newspaper or on the rim of a rubbish bin
to dislodge the dust.
•
If it is very dirty, soak it in warm soapy water for a few minutes, rinse under a running tap, remove
all traces of soap, then let it air dry – do NOT refit until it is completely dry.
REASSEMBLY
•
Wait until everything is completely dry before reassembly.
•
Lower the HEPA filter into the lid, locating the spindle into the bottom of the agitator. Make
sure it is fully seated in the lid – it may be necessary to turn it a bit to clear the lugs inside the lid.
•
Lower the filter assembly over the HEPA filter, then turn it anti-clockwise to lock it into the lid
(it is a bayonet-type fitting).
•
Turn the combined lid and filter assembly upside down.
•
Align the mark on the lid with the (insert image unlock)marked on the bin.
•
Lower the lid and filter assembly into the bin.
•
Grip the bin lid with one hand, grip the bin with the other, and turn the lid of the bin to move

•
Replace the bin in the cleaner – put the bottom in first, then push the top home. You will hear the
locks click into place.
•
Check that it is secure.
CHECK THE OUTLET FILTER
•
The outlet filter is located on the back of the vacuum cleaner.
•
Press the lock down, pull the top of the cover away from the cleaner and lift the cover up and
off the cleaner.
•
Ease the outlet filter out of the cleaner.
•
If the filter is covered in dust, tap it gently over some newspaper or on the rim of a rubbish bin
to dislodge the dust.
•
If it is very dirty, soak it in warm soapy water for a few minutes, rinse under a running tap, remove
all traces of soap, then let it air dry – do NOT refit until it is completely dry.
•
When it is dry, replace it in the rear of the cleaner.
•
The soft foam side of the filter should be towards the cover and the firm white side of the filter
should be towards the cleaner.
•
Fit the lugs on the bottom of the cover into the slots in the cleaner and push the top of the cover
into the cleaner until it clicks into place
