USING THE GRATING / SLICING ATTACHMENT
To fit the slicer or grater to the disc: insert the selected attachment into the centre of
the disc, lower the slicer/grater into the disc, secure the latch over the edge of the disc.
Lower the disc over the top of the spindle.
Replace the lid, and turn it to bring the
“arrow” on the lid over the “closed lock” on the
jug, to lock it in place.
Remove the pusher, and slide the ingredients down the feed chute.
Replace the pusher, and use it to push the ingredients gently down the feed chute.
Do not use fingers or cutlery to push food down the feed chute
– only the pusher.
The blade on top of the disc will slice or grate the food into the jug.
Do not let the jug get more than about half full
– stop and empty it.
To remove the slicer or grater from the disc, ease the latch away from the side of the
disc, and lift the slicer/grater off.
USING THE MILL
Turn the mill base and bowl upside down.
Put the goods to be ground into the bowl
– dry goods only.
Lower the mill base on to the bowl, then twist the base to the right, to lock it in place.
Turn the combined mill base and bowl the right way up.
Align the “arrow” on the bottom of the mill base with the “open lock” on the motor unit.
Lower the mill on to the motor unit, then turn, to align the “arrow” with the “closed lock”.
Turn the speed control in short bursts until you achieve the size of grind you want.
Turn the mill base to align the “arrow” with the “open lock”, and lift it off the motor unit.
Turn the mill base and bowl upside down.
