USING THE JUICER

Use good quality, fresh, ripe, citrus fruit.
•
Wipe the fruit.
•
Turn the fruit on its side and cut in half with a sharp knife to cut through the centres of the
segments.

2. Lower the juicer body into the motor unit.
3. Put the juice collector into the juicer body.
4. Put the pulp collector into the juice collector.
5. Fit the reamer onto the drive shaft. The large reamer is for juicing grapefruits, oranges, etc.
The small reamer is for juicing lemons, limes, etc. To use the small reamer, pull the large
reamer off the small reamer. To refit the large reamer, lower it on top of the small reamer,
so the gaps in the bottom of it fit over the wings in the small reamer.
6. Place the 400ml bottle under the spout.

Using one half-fruit at a time, place the cut (flesh) side on top of the reamer and press it
down (Fig B).
8. The reamer will turn, pressing the juice out of the half-fruit.
9. Move the fruit around, to ensure that the reamer reaches all of the flesh.
10. When you stop pressing, the motor will stop.
11. Do the same with the rest of your fruit.
12. The spout can closed to prevent dripping when you have finished using the appliance (Fig. C).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Unplug the appliance.
2. Wipe the the motor unit with a damp cloth.
3. Remove the seal with something blunt, like the handle of a fork.
4. Hand wash the removable parts.
5. Press the seal back into place with something blunt, like the handle of a fork.

You may wash these parts in the top rack of a dishwasher.
If you use a dishwasher, the harsh environment inside the dishwasher will affect the surface
finishes. The damage should be cosmetic only, and should not affect the operation of the
appliance.
