22 We’ve tried not to make it too powerful, to avoid wrecking your
home, so you may need to push the plug end in manually.

c) it may pulse with the turbo brush, as the load varies more
d) it’ll glow steadily if you block the hose – move the hose
e) it’ll glow steadily if you let the bin get full – stop and empty it
f) it’ll glow steadily if there’s a blockage – stop and clear it

REMOVING AND EMPTYING THE BIN
24 It’s best to empty the bin after each use.
25 Switch off, unplug, and leave it for a minute, to let the dust settle.
26 Press the lock on the hose end, and pull the hose from the inlet.
27 Hold the bin handle, press the bin release button (on top of the
bin handle), then lift the bin up and out of the cleaner.
28 Lower the bin into your dustbin so the bottom of the bin is below
the rim, to prevent the dust dispersing into your environment.
29 Press the latch on the front of the bin, to open the bottom.
30 Give the bin a couple of taps, to shake all the dirt loose.

CHECK THE FILTERS
31 Spread out some newspaper, and wear rubber gloves.
,
Filters must be completely dry before replacing in the cleaner.
32 Turn the bin round – the filters are at the back.
33 Pull the main filter out of the rear of the bin.
34 Turn the main filter round, and pull the foam filter out of its rear.
35 Wash the foam filter in warm soapy water, rinse, and air dry.
36 Tap the main filter gently over the newspaper, to dislodge dirt.
37 If it’s really dirty, soak it in warm soapy water for a few minutes,
rinse under a running tap, then let it air dry.
38 Turn the bin upside down, use the grips to turn the plastic filter
about 8mm anti-clockwise, and lift it out of the bin.
