10. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE 

 

CAUTION:  

To prevent possible injury, allow the engine to cool before transporting or storing the drill in an 

enclosed space.  

When transporting the motor drill, switch the switch to the OFF position and keep it horizontal. 

 

If you do not use the power tool for a long time (in a week), proceed as follows: 

 

• Clean the motor drill.  

• Drain the fuel from the tank.  

• Start the motor drill and let it run until the fuel in the carburetor is consumed and it stops. This 

operation is necessary to prevent the gasoline from evaporating from the mixture, which can 

cause the carburetor orifice to become clogged by depositing the remaining oil.  

• Store in a dry place where children cannot reach.  

• Remove the spark plug and pour approx. 5ml of clean mixing oil in the cylinder. Operate the 

starter several times to distribute the oil, then refit the spark plug.  

• Replace the carburetor drain plug
