In the case of water extraction from a riverbed, pumping should be carried out from an
area protected from the watercourse (the riverbed) to avoid absorption of sand and
stones.
NOTE: Tighten the duct connection and clamp collars to ensure a tight seal and prevent
loss of suction. A loose suction line will reduce pumping performance as well as self-
priming ability.

WARNING! Do not use petroleum products when cleaning the filter. It is mandatory to
replace the damaged air filter, otherwise dust and impurities that may enter the
carburettor and engine unit will lead to damage.
CAUTION: Never operate the engine without an air filter. Rapid engine wear can occur
due to impurities such as dust being sucked through the carburetor into the engine.
5. PRIMING
The pump chamber must be filled with water before commissioning. Never put the pump
into operation without having provided water for priming, as the pump will overheat and
the pressure seal will be damaged.
6. STARTING THE ENGINE
Before commissioning the motor pump you must ensure that the following conditions are
met:
1. The pump is placed horizontally on the ground.
2. The pump chamber is filled with water for priming.
