To check the oil level use the dipstick, the oil must be at full level.

Check for oil leaks.

Add oil to the air filter.

Clean the unit of dust and dirt, especially the air filter.

8. RUNNING-IN PERIOD

The tiller should run for 5 hours under light load. After this period, change the oil in both

the transmission and the engine. Then fill the transmission oil sump with RURIS G-Tronic

or an oil of API classification GL-4 or higher and the engine oil sump with RURIS 4T-MAX

or an oil of API classification CI-4/SL or higher.

Unleaded gasoline will be used in the tiller.

It is recommended that before use the gasoline is decanted and filtered through a metal

sieve.

9. COMMISSIONING

It is forbidden to idle the engine without load for more than 5 minutes as you risk

damaging the drive belts.

The engine fitted to your tiller is factory run-in and does not require idling.

Before starting up the tiller, you must ensure that the following conditions are met:

▪

fill the air filter container with clean engine oil to the maximum level indicated

▪

there are no persons or objects within a radius of 5 metres on either side of the

tiller with which it could come into contact

▪

the tiller is placed horizontally

▪

the front wheel is mounted and raised off the ground
