TEST RUN
Switch on the machine and check if there are any abnormal vibrations caused by the improper placement of
the abrasive material.
If there are, immediately switch off the machine and eliminate their source.
MOTOR SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The motor speed is adjustable with speed control knob (3). The motor speed depends on the type of
abrasive material and the material to be worked.
DUST FLOW ADJUSTMENT
Rotate ring nut (5) to adjust the dust flow.
ABRASIVE PAPER REPLACEMENT

Abrasive paper disks may be torn off;

Fasten new Velcro-fastened abrasive paper by pressing it against the working disk; make sure that
the holes in the abrasive paper and in the disk coincide.
TYPES OF ABRASIVE PAPER USED
Velcro-fastened abrasive paper disks with dust extraction holes, diameter 150mm.
TOOL MAINTENANCE
Any operations should be carried out after cutting off the power supply. Each time after the completion of
work and in all necessary cases remove dust from the machine body using compressed air. In particular,
remember to clean the motor ventilation holes.
The user shall not perform any other maintenance operations.
Only authorised Service Workshops may perform maintenance operations and the cleaning of internal
machine elements, including: brushes, ball bearings, gears, etc.
LEVEL OF NOISE EMITTED BY THE MACHINE
The level of noise generated by the machine in normal operating conditions is 88.7 dB (measured according
to the EN 23744 standard). Apply proper precautions to protect your hearing against possible injury due to
the noise generated by the tool.

SYSTEM PROTECTING AGAINST RADIO NOISE
The tools have a reduced radio noise index according to the instructions provided in the EC Directive 89/336
on the prevention and elimination of radio noise.
