Connecting an External IR
Receiver
If infrared signals from the remote control cannot reach the projector due to excessive
distance or obstructions such as walls or cabinet doors, you can connect an external IR
repeater system to the IR INPUT on the Q-650i to extend the range of the remote control.
See Figure 3-12.

Connecting to AC Power The Q-650i ships with various types of AC power cords. Choose the one that is
appropriate to your locale.
Plug the female end of the power cord into the AC receptacle on the rear of the projector
(AC 100V ~ 240V); see Figure 2-2. Then, connect the other end to your AC power source.
