3.2 Charging and Checking Charging Status
3.2.1 Charging the Battery Pack
The battery pack is the internal power source for the tablet PC. It is rechargeable using
the AC adapter. The operating time of a fully charged battery pack depends on how you
are using the tablet PC. When your applications often access peripherals, you will
experience a shorter operating time.
NOTE:
1. Charging will not start if the battery’s temperature is below 0
°
C (32

F). It is also
recommended not to charge the battery when temperature is above 45
°
C (113
°
F)
2. To prevent damage, the charging process may stop and the Battery Charge Indicator
flashes red when the environmental temperature gets above 55
°
C (131
°
F)
3. The battery level may automatically lessen due to the self-discharge process (0.21 %
per day), even when the battery pack is fully charged (100 %). This happens no
matter if the battery pack is installed in the tablet PC.
