6. Calibration and
Troubleshooting
6.1. Calibration
The PPM uses state of the art DSP technology. Scale and ballistics are
defined in software. Based on this facts long term stability is guaranteed.
Adjustment and calibration are not required.
6.2. Input impedance change
The Peakmeter will be set to 110
Ω Ω
Ω Ω Ω input resistance in the factory. This can
be modified if necessary by setting a jumper to High-Z:

WARNING:
Modification inside the unit must be carried out by qualified service personal
with appropriate SMD-tools only. Power must have been shut down. When
servicing it is very important to observe all standard ESD (electrostatic
discharge) protection procedures.
6.3. Setup changes
Setup changes for begin of headroom and overload detection can be
achieved by the use of the hex-switches displayed in fig 3-1. The DIP switch
gives control about settings for peakhold mode, HP-filter and standby-mode.
DIN type units are preset by the factory according DIN and IRT 3/6 standard.
The Peakmeter will be set
