This product has been made with resistant materials of the
highest quality. With correct care and maintenance you will
be able to enjoy it for many years. However, dirt or other
contaminants and bad use could damage it.
BEECH WOOD (STRUCTURE)
In RS Barcelona we use and select top quality natural
woods. Beech is a natural wood for INDOOR USE ONLY.
Natural woods are high quality woods that bring an attrac-
tiveness to the pieces and a long life.
But they require good maintenance and proper care so
that they always look like new.
• Avoid giving hard blows and if you deposit some glass
that can leave marks, dry it quickly with a cloth.
• Do not place hot pans directly on the wood, since heat
will damage the surface, alter its colour and shine. Always
use place mats or coasters.
• Clean the dust frequently.
• Clean with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild
soap and dry it fast with another cloth.
• Always clean gently in the direction of the grain.
• Never use abrasive soap or detergent, sandpaper or steel
wool since they could scratch the surface or make colours
fade.
• Never use furniture polish which contains wax, since
these kinds of products tend to leave a sticky layer on the
surface which attracts dust and dirt.
• Water and moisture can also damage these woods, so try
to keep them as far away as possible from these elements.
For the optimal conservation of pieces manufactured
in steel, especially if they are exposed to the elements,
periodic maintenance is advised.
UPHOLSTERY
To enjoy your upholstery textile for a long time, cherish
it and use it properly. Keep your textile as clean as
possible. Make sure it is cleaned regulary using a vac-
cum cleaner set to medium to low power. When a hole
occurs, this might result in damaging the textile. So
always be careful with shoes, jeans and sharp objects.
UNIFORM MELANGE from Kvadrat:
Kvradat’s Uniform Melange fabric is mostly made of
wool (68% wool, 22% polyamide, 10% polyester,
2mm foam), which offers warmth and well-being, a
natural touch and aging with a special attractiveness.
Wool is a renewable, biodegradable and reusable
resource.
To ensure that the fabric of your piece stays as new for
as long as possible and accompanies you in the best
conditions, you should take care of it following simple
maintenance and cleaning instructions.
• Dry clean only.
• Do not iron.
• Do not use clothes dryer.
When stains occur:
• Act as quickly as possible to keep your textile beau-
tiful.
• Remove liquid stains by carefully dabbing with a clean
cloth, preferably white.
• Most stains can be treated with soapy lukewarm wa-
ter. We recommend using a PH neutral detergent.
• Never use hot water as heat will set stains.
• Rub the stain gently with a clean cloth and afterwards
dab the textile dry with a dry cloth to absorb moisture
and soil.
• When rubbing too hard you can damage the textile
and the colour may fade.
