PID Control

The PID Equation

The PID instruction can be expressed like (1) or (2) formula:

The formula adds following three actions:

• Proportional Action (P Action): calculate proportional values to current

deviation e.

• Integral Action (I Action): calculate proportional values to accumulated pas

deviation

• Derivative Action (D Action): calculate proportional values to the size of

deviation e

That is, PID control is configured following three elements and the basic
meaning of PID control is to find the optimal value considering past, current,
and future data.

• Integral Action (I Action): consider past data

• Proportional Action (P Action): consider current data

• Derivative Action (D Action): consider future data
