NOTE: If a FAIL indicator (red LED N°4) is lit on a bay, the battery of the corresponding bay should be
removed from the charger and its contacts checked. Install this battery pack again. If the FAIL indicator
light comes again, remove the battery pack from the charger.
Operating Instructions
•
The unit will become warm during normal operation. This is not a malfunction.
•
Prevent metallic objects from coming into contact with the metal parts of the DC plug of the power
supply. If this happens, a short may occur and the unit may be damaged.
Safety Instructions
•
Unplug the unit from the wall socket if the charger will not be used for a long time. To disconnect the
power cord, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the power cord itself.
•
While using the charger, if any trouble occurs with this unit, disconnect the plug from the socket as
soon as possible to cut off the power.
•
Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or if the unit has been dropped or damaged.
•
Do not bend the power cord forcibly or place a heavy object on it. This will damage the cord and may
cause fire or electrical shock.
•
The power socket shall be installed near the charger and shall be easily accessible (req. by
IEC60950)
•
Do not place the unit in locations that are extremely hot or cold, dusty or dirty, very humid or
vibrating.
•
Do not subject to direct heat or direct sunlight. Do not place upon or next to heat sensitive materials.
•
Do not cover.
•
Always keep metallic contacts clean.
•
Do not disassemble the unit.
•
Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the unit.
