10.2.2 - Blood spill removal

It is possible blood is leaking during aspiration of the tube. When blood remains on the needle drip block, it

will be drained automatically.

In case of blood leakage outside the needle drip block, blood is collected in the drip tray under the

processing unit.

Check on daily base if blood or other fluid is collected in the drip tray.

1. Remove the drip tray.
2. Clean it in case of containment
3. Place the drip tray back in the instrument.
