E70 is the error code and the text in the status line Can't home mixer! Rack not on mix position. Mixer motor

send to home position , but position gripperr motor is not on the MIX position.

Problem:

After a crash the settings of the Mixer motor screen are changed

in the Cfg.ini file

Solution:

To restore the standard mixer settings screen with the "long mix

test" and "short mix test" buttons, open the file Cfg.ini with Notepad, lock

up the row "Rack version= " and change the value to 22. Then save and

close the file.

15.20.3 - Check the mixer

The mixer is integrated with the rack grabber and will start mixing as soon the first barcode label is read.

Check the movement during the mixing and check the mixer has enough clearance to turn.

Check the following settings in

Service - Rack unit - Mixer & conveyer motor

•

Number of turns long mix (default = 8). This is the first mix of a new rack.)

•

Number of turn's short mix (default = 1). This is the second, third, etc… mix of the same rack.

15.21 - LIMS Communication errors

The following error numbers E30 till E37 are related to ACK/NACK handshake communications between the

Starrsed RS and the Host Computer.

•

Check the communication cable between the Starrsed RS and Host computer

•

Check the serial port settings (Baudrate, etc)

•

Check protocol settings

•

Check Host Computer settings

To test the barcode reader:

1. Select

Service - Rack unit - Position motor

2. Insert a sample rack with a sample tube in the grabber on the first position.
3. Press

IN position

and put the rack inside the gripper.
