The shredder suddenly stops
while shredding.
Ensure that the shredder “OVERHEAT” Indicator light is not on. (Refer to
the Overheat Section)
Ensure that the bin is not full. (Refer to the Bin Full Section)
Shredder is not pulling paper
from the auto-feed tray.
Ensure that the paper was properly inserted. (Refer to Auto-Feed Entry
Section)
Ensure that the staples are at the top of the page and they do not exceed
the maximum stapled quantity (10 Sheets).
Ensure that the paper is not folded.
Ensure that the number of sheets in the tray does not exceed the
maximum (120 Sheets).
The motor keeps running after
shredding is complete.
Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn the shredder off.
Press the “REVERSE” button.
Open the top safety cover and remove any jammed paper.
