Installation instructions – using Roxtec Wedge
See illustrations on page 4-6.
Packing space
See illustrations on page 6.
Remove any dirt inside the frame.
Lubricate the inside surfaces with Roxtec
Lubricant, especially into the corners.
Adapt modules to cables or pipes by peeling
off layers.
Achieve a 0.1-1.0 mm gap between the
halves when held against the cable/pipe.
Lubricate all modules thoroughly, both the
inside and outside surfaces.
Insert modules according to your installation
plan. Seal cables/pipes at the bottom and put
spare modules on top.
Insert a stayplate on top of every finished row
of modules.
Fill up the packing space until one row is left.
Before inserting the final row, insert two
stayplates.
Separate the two stayplates. Insert the final
row between them.
Drop the upper stayplate on top of the
modules.
Lubricate all sides of the wedge, except front
and back. Turn it according to the markings
and insert it in the top of the frame (standard
position). Face with “Stayplate this side”
must always face a stayplate.
Tighten the screws until full stop, approx 20
Nm (15 ft.lb.).
Attach the Wedge Clip to the bolts to check
that the wedge is properly tightened.
Optional wedge positions (anywhere in frame).
Stayplate clips (d) and clamps (e) can be
used to simplify horizontal assembly.
Frame sizes 2, 4, 6 and 8 accommodate these
heights of modules: 60, 120, 180 and 240 mm.
See example for frame size 6: 180 mm can be
the result of 4 rows of RM 40 and one of RM 20.
